Privacy & Discretion.
Luxcierge is built on the single premise that nothing about a client's life — their name, their family, their movements, their tastes — belongs in public. This page explains how we handle the information you entrust to us.
What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to compose and deliver your request. This typically includes: the name of the enquiring party, a preferred method of contact (email or WhatsApp), the service of interest, approximate dates, party size and budget band, and any notes you choose to share about dietary, accessibility or special requirements.
For confirmed engagements we may additionally record: passport details (where required by maritime, aviation or border authorities), flight numbers for arrivals and departures, dietary and allergy notes for catering, and delivery addresses for vehicles or goods. Sensitive documents are encrypted and retained only for the operational window of the engagement.
What we do not do
- We do not maintain a mailing list, a newsletter, or any form of marketing database.
- We do not publish client names, photographs or testimonials that could identify an individual without their direct written consent.
- We do not sell, rent, license or otherwise share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
- We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. Our site uses a single privacy-respecting analytics script (Mirareach) that records page views only, without personal identifiers.
- We do not photograph or film on board a vessel, at an event, or during a private hire unless you have specifically requested us to do so.
How we share information with suppliers
Delivering a Luxcierge engagement requires us to brief a small, vetted circle of suppliers — a captain, a chef, a driver, a venue manager. We share only the minimum information each supplier needs to perform their role: a driver sees the guest's name, flight number and pickup time; a chef sees dietary and allergy notes but not travel details. All suppliers operate under individual confidentiality agreements with the house.
When we share a brief electronically, we use time-boxed, watermarked links that expire automatically at the end of the engagement and can be revoked at any time.
How long we keep your information
Enquiry correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is reviewed and purged within ninety days. For confirmed engagements, operational records (itinerary, invoices, supplier briefs) are retained for the minimum period required by applicable accounting, tax and maritime regulations — typically seven years in the UAE — and then securely destroyed. You may request earlier deletion of any data that is not subject to a legal retention requirement.
Your rights
Wherever you reside, you may ask us to: confirm what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. Members of the European Union, the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions with equivalent regimes (including the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law) enjoy these rights by statute; we extend them to every correspondent as a matter of house policy. To exercise any of these rights, write to hi@luxciergegroup.com with the subject line Data Request.
Security
Data at rest is encrypted. Access to client records is limited to named members of the house on a need-to-know basis and logged. Staff sign individual confidentiality agreements on joining and annually thereafter. Any supplier-facing link is time-boxed and watermarked.
